Broken clocks. Broken watches. Found objects. Imagine all the things you can create with broken or outdated items. The possibilities are endless.
Assemblage Artist Charlotte Garrett will be having a solo art show during the month of June at the Salina Country Club.
Charlotte has been creating assemblage art out of found objects since 2007 when she resided in Texas. She first started with pocket watch creations and artistic jewelry. She was featured in Belle Armoire Jewelry Magazine, on Texas Country reporter News (tv show), in Abilene Reporter News, Brownwood Bulletin and on the Syndicated Radio Show with Tumbleweed Smith.
Charlotte now lives in Salina and creates larger art pieces from found objects. She prefers to work with vintage, antique, broken, and outdated objects to give them a new purpose. She continues to work on her pocket watch pieces but has now incorporated them into themed art boxes. A person can either wear the art or display it on the wall in its specially designed box.
Show Exhibit runs from June 1 – June 30 from 9 AM to 9 PM.
