Upon arrival, guests will receive passports and receive passport stamps from 23 different countries located in the Kramer gymnasium. Guests will experience a variety of activities such as Chinese Calligraphy, Origami, Henna Tattoos, Chinese Paper Cutting, creating International flags out of LEGOS and reading books to Miami University 4 Paws dogs. The STEM staff will "take you away" on imaginative trips through countries using Virtual Reality Goggles. On stage will be an array of entertainers including Miami University Men’s Glee Club, Japanese Taiko Drummers, African Drummers, Dancers from the Cultural Center of India, Miami University’s Nishaana Bollywood Fusion Dance Team, Talawanda High School Steel Drum Band and “dance the night away” with a Mariachi Band. Enjoy empanadas, arepas and more from Empanadas Aqui Food Truck located in the Kramer parking lot.
This festival will bring young and old together to celebrate our diversity and embrace a spirit of unity between the Talawanda School District, Miami University and Oxford community members.
