You know it, you love it, it's back!
Join us on Family Day, Monday February 17th 10am - 3pm for Kaslo's greatest little outdoor Winter Festival. Bring your family and enjoy great music and storytelling, fun games and activities, plenty of food and good company. And it's all FREE!
Join in on x-country skiing, 4 on 4 ball hockey, Human Dogsled races for charity, the Woodsman Skills competition, tracking and animal awareness, the "Survivor" game, snow painting and lots more!
There will be a bonfire to warm up, live music, snow sculpture and plenty of fun crafts and games for the little ones (and young at heart ones). Enjoy some locally home-made soup, hot dogs, hot cocoa and spiced apple juice. As always, everything is free!! Except Tire sur la Neige (maple taffy) that's $2 per stick.
Please consider bringing your own re-usable bowl & cup so we can cut down on waste, and remember we'll be outside all day so dress warm! Keep your eyes peeled for our new and improved parking lot, and parking volunteers.
The Winter in the Forest Festival is made possible by generous funding from Kaslo & District Community Forest Society and the province of British Columbia. WitF is organized by volunteers from the Kaslo Housing Society, with help from many individuals and groups in the community.
