Maria Campbell is perhaps the most well-known and respected Metis woman and artist in Canada today.
She was propelled into the national spotlight stirring an intense, long-overdue, nation-wide conversation with the publication of her autobiography, Half-Breed in 1973. Since then she has blazed a trail through a variety of mediums including literature, theatre, radio, and film.
Through her work, Maria has reached thousands of students across many disciplines impacting their lives and careers. Join us for a discussion with Maria on her life experiences, Metis literature, and creative writing:
