Description

Join us for a taste of Eastern Europe with a Culinary Campus twist! Chef Stuart Kirton (Professional Cooking '10) will guide you through a delicious feast of Eastern European favourites, including homemade perogies, kielbasa and goulash.

About Chef Stuart Kirton

Most recently, Stuart was Chef de Cuisine at The Livingroom Restaurant. He's also worked at Chophouse Restaurant, Model Milk and Teatro. In 2016, Stuart founded VDG Salumi where he leads product development of artisanal charcuterie.

Stuart holds a SAIT Professional Cooking diploma, an International Italian Culinary diploma from ALMA - La Scuola Internazionale di Cucine Italiana (Parma, Italy) and an Italian Culinary Arts postgraduate diploma from George Brown College (Toronto, ON).

Parking information

Parking is available at the Bow Parkade, 231 - 6 Avenue SW or any downtown lot (at your own expense). If you choose to take the Ctrain, get off at 1 Street SW or 3 Street SW Station.

Program

5:30 pm - 6 pm: Welcome Reception

Arrive, check in, meet your fellow alumni and enjoy a beverage on us.

6 pm - 8:15 pm: Cooking with Chef Kirton

In small groups, we'll prepare each dish for a delicious feast!

8:15 pm - 8:45 pm: Let's eat!

Sit down and savour the dishes you just masterfully created.
