In collaboration with Calgary's Recovery College, SAIT Student Development and Counselling is pleased to bring you The Art of Friendship. Because stron friendships take work!
Strong friendships give us the power to be our true selves; when we have strong friendships, we feel respected and valued and we work hard to find ways to show our friends that we respect and value them. Strong friendships take work! This course will help you learn about yourself, what you say, the way you act, and how all of your action can affect relationships with others. Focusing on these aspects, helps us gain confidence in our relationships and we will be more likely to achieve our friendship goals.
In order for all participants to benefit from the series, we ask that you commit to attending all 8 sessions. We understand that life happens, but please ensure that you miss no more than 2 sessions. You must complete at least 12 hours to be eligible for CCR.
Dates: Every Wednesday, from Jan. 22 to Mar. 18 (no session Feb, 19)
Location: Senator Burns Building, NJ105 (Saitsa Peer Support Centre)
