Description

Transformational Breath® sessions closing with guided Reiki Drum Journey.

Who hasn't experienced any trauma?  Explore and integrate Trauma with Transformational Breath & Reiki Drum Journey.

Why do I need to learn how to breathe?

The solution to healing exists within your body and Breath.

Most of us have experienced some level of trauma in our lives. When these issues are unprocessed, they show up in our life through anger, stress, depression, extreme anxiety, eating disorders and avoidance.

These problems arise from experiencing stressful events such as abuse, neglect, natural disasters, war, or loss of loved ones through illness. The thinking mind can't work through these issues to let them go; they are held in the body, or more specifically in our tissues.

"Your issues are in your tissues."

Science shows this to be true. Untreated issues can affect our physical health and make us really really sick.

The origin of your pain lives in your body, and your body needs to be part of the healing equation. You cannot rationalise with trauma with just the conscious mind. This explanation is one of the reasons why many talking therapies only go so far. Elif spent 25 years working as an NHS Psychologist, so believes this to be true.

In this full-day workshop, we'll teach you to heal yourself through your Breath, more specifically Transformational Breath® (as this tool works at the physical level of the body and helps to process the emotional load of trauma).

Transformational Breath works across the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. With our many years of combined experience, we haven't come across a more powerful self- healing tool.

It is said that:

"One breath session is equivalent to two years of talking therapy."

So IMAGINE the impact of doing this twice in one day?

Reiki Drum Journey

The afternoon Transformational Breath session will close with a live Reiki Drum Journey with both Sarah and Elif. The drumbeat is one of the oldest and most sacred sounds that we can use to access the subconscious and healing.

The drum sounds connect us back to the primal sound of the heart beating- the first sound we hear in the womb. This technique can facilitate altered consciousness for you to access information for change in any area of your life. You can use it for personal healing issues, career concerns, relationship problems, accessing inner wisdom and tune into our spiritual selves.

This technique can be exceptionally empowering, and healing on all levels will provide Reiki hands-on healing as well to create the perfect container for integration to occur.

Workshop details

Our workshop will start at 10am. After a short demonstration given by Elif, you will be lying down on mats with pillows and blankets during the sessions, using Transformational Breath to breathe, feeling the refreshing difference brought to your body and mind.

Our facilitators will guide you to breathe correctly to get your best breathing experience.

The afternoon Transformational Breath session will end with a guided Reiki Drum Journey. Between the morning and afternoon sessions, we will have a lunch break so you can enjoy a meal at local cafes nearby. Or if you prefer, bring a packed lunch.

You can gain the following benefits from this workshop:

  • Increase body awareness without being re-traumatised.
  • Processing and healing trauma memories without talking.
  • A secure connection to oneself
  • A feeling of insight, integration, clarity and purpose.
  • A shift concerning any behaviours stemming from traumatic experiences
  • An opportunity to increase resilience
  • A regulated and calm nervous system following an intense detox

Nurture yourself and bring healing to your mind
