Description

To mark the 10th anniversary of MOTET's first concert, we present a programme for the Feast of the Chair of St Peter. On this day, we celebrate the role of St Peter and his successors as the "Vicar of Christ" to the Church on earth. Our concert features music drawn from the First Vespers and Mass liturgies of the feast, including works by English polyphonic master William Byrd, French perfectionist Maurice Duruflé, and their respective contemporaries.

There are two opportunities to hear this concert programme:

Friday 21 February, 8:00pm, St Augustine's Church (Kitsilano, Vancouver)
Saturday 22 February, 2:30pm, St Mary's Church (Gibsons, Sunshine Coast)

Admission is by donation, and all ages are warmly welcomed!  For more information, visit:  https://www.facebook.com/events/2491482257837083/
