Hello parents and students,

Our 1st Quarter Belt Promotion Testing will be Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Below are some IMPORTANT INFORMATION about the next Belt Promotion Testing

Please READ CAREFULLY and let us know if you have any questions.

• Please make sure to check the dates and times below carefully. We are not responsible for anyone who fails to comply with our instructions.
• There will be a $50 LATE FEE (Cash ONLY) add on for those who register late.
• Students who are unable to attend the scheduled test may schedule a makeup test for an additional $75 (Cash ONLY).
• Test fee, essay or drawing MUST be submitted together at the same time to the front office on or before the due date. (Students who registered online early but turn in the fees and essays after the early registration will be considered LATE). 

Test Date: Saturday, March 15, 2025

Time: 1:00PM - 2:30PM (Green Belts & Up) / 2:30PM - 5:00PM (White/Yellow/Orange Belts) & (All Little Dragons Program)

Essay/Drawing: Submit Essay/Drawing to the front office. Note: Students who registered online early but turn in the fees and essays after the early registration date ends will be considered LATE).

Payment/Registration Info: Register ONLINE and submit the payment (CASH ONLY) in the front office within the deadline date or a $50 LATE FEE will apply. 

Regular Registration & Payment Schedule:

February 1st - March 5th 7:00PM

Late Registration & Payment Schedule:

March 6th - March 11th 7:00PM

Testing Requirements 

1) This will be an IN-PERSON test at the studio INDOORS (masks are optional and uniform is required)

2) Sparring Gear Required for Yellow Belts and Up

3) Tournament Credit Required

Notes:

• Tournament credits are valid for the semester (1st semester runs from January to June and 2nd semester runs from July to Dec). For example, if your child attended the Blue Dragon Olympics on August 26th, he/she would get a tournament credit and that credit would allow him/her to test for both the September and December Tests. These tournament credits cannot transfer from one semester to another or from one year to the next. Let's say the student received a credit in the August event and then took the September test but decided not to take the December test -- Whether the student takes the September/December Tests or not, that tournament credit cannot transfer to the March Test of the following year. 

MAKE UP TESTS

Students who are unable to attend the scheduled test may schedule a makeup test for an additional $75 (Cash ONLY)

HYGIENE

Personal Hygiene: Your fellow students and instructors appreciate you keeping your hands, feet, and body clean; and fingernails and toenails short. We appreciate your effort to keep your feet clean before stepping on the mats.

Uniforms: A clean pressed uniform should be worn every class; new uniforms are available at the front desk.

Under-Clothing: Please do not wear 2nd pairs of pants, sweatshirts, or collared shirts under the uniform.

Jewelry: For safety, please remove watches, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings.

Patches: should be sewn on as soon as possible; Replacement patches are available at the front desk.

Sparring Gear: (Hands, chest, feet, helmet, mouthpiece, shin guards, arm guards, & cup/supporter for men) should be cleaned regularly.
