Therese West is currently pursuing an AMS degree in the studio of Professor Andres Cardenes at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Therese previously studied with Cyrus Forough, David Kim, Chris Wu, and Barton Rotberg. Therese earned her Bachelors of Music from Baldwin Wallace University with a Chamber Music Emphasis and secondary viola in 2017.
Therese has enjoyed playing in summer festivals. She previously attended the National Repertory Orchestra Festival, National Music Festival, American Institute of Music Studies (AIMS), Texas Music Festival, Marrowstone Festival, and Pierre Monteux Music Festival.
Therese is principal second violin for the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. She is a substitute for the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, New World Symphony, Canton Symphony, Erie Philharmonic, Ashland Symphony, Butler County Symphony, and Westmoreland Symphony.
