Kyle Leve is currently a senior pursuing a self-defined major in Music and Audio Production. He has played the saxophone for nine years and under the direction of Eric Defade, Kyle has studied both classical and jazz repertoire. Throughout his studies, Kyle has performed in various chamber groups such as a saxophone quartet and an experimental jazz trio, as well as in larger ensembles including the Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble, Exploded Ensemble, and the Carnegie Mellon Jazz Orchestra. He has also worked as a recording musician and engineer in CMU’s Vlahakis Recording Studio under the supervision of Riccardo Schulz. Additionally, Kyle spends his time composing electronic music in hopes of one day being a sound designer in the video game industry.
