A Seat at the Table: A Celebration of Female Composers includes songs by Chaminade, Viardot, Jacobs-Bond, Remick Warren, and a side of Strauss. This recital is a tribute to the women whose work has been dismissed or overlooked for many years in the male-dominated world of classical music.
Nicole Khauzami is a Lebenese-American soprano from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She is in her junior year at the Carnegie Mellon School of Music studying under Jennifer Aylmer.
