Matt Rees is an active educator and trumpet performer in Pittsburgh. He attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania as a music education major and graduated summa cum laude in 2022. He’s currently a second year graduate student pursuing a degree in Trumpet Performance studying under Neal Berntsen of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Matt will be joined by Joey Caporali (alto saxophone), Nick Giorgetti (drumset), Bjorn Kydland (piano), and Owen Nash (bass). Matt would like to thank his mentors, friends, and family for their support.
