Evelyn Davenport is a first year graduate student in the studio of Frederic Chiu. She earned her bachelor of arts in music and a certificate in piano pedagogy and performance from Lakehead University in Canada. In 2021, she won the senior division of the Cremona International Music Competition. She won first prize in the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition and was a national finalist in the Canadian Music Compeition. She has performed in venues such as the Museo del Violino in Cremona, Italy, Salle Henri-Gagnon in Quebec City, and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. In addition to classical studies, Evelyn completed an online general music studies certificate at the Berklee College of Music, where she studied jazz piano and audio mixing.
