Holly is a senior voice major in the studio of Jen Aylmer. She is ecstatic to be a Pi Kappa Lambda scholar as well as performing meaningful pieces for her December Holly-day Senior recital, including sacred music, winter, and a traditional Italian christmas song to honor her heritage and achievement of the Italian certificate at CMU. Later this season, Holly will be featured as “Ruggiero” in Handel’s Alcina with the School of Music and in scenes as “Lauretta” from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. Her other credits with CMU Opera include features as “Ilia” in Idomeneo and “Constanze” in Dialogues des Carmélites for their 2024 Opera Scenes. Holly is incredibly thankful for her faith community and to all of the people who have supported her along her journey. In particular, she thanks her teacher and coaches, as well as mom and siblings for putting up with her constant singing.
