Avid performer and teacher Joshua Gandy has played horn with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. He was the former Principal Horn of the Mansfield Philharmonic, where he performed Mozart’s 4th horn concerto live in concert. Mr. Gandy is currently pursuing his masters degree in horn performance at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is studying with William Caballero, Principal Horn of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. He received his bachelor's degree in music at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he studied with Gerald Wood, Principal Horn of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. While at UTA, he graduated magna cum laude with an emphasis in music education.
