Since its debut in the fall of 2002, Carnegie Mellon Baroque Ensemble has performed on the Carnegie Mellon University campus and at Carnegie Music Hall, opening for the Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society Concert Series. The ensemble is dedicated to the playing of 18th century music on modern instruments while remaining true to the concepts of historically informed performance practice.
