Long Form gives improvisers the opportunity to explore characters, weave stories and discover themes with greater depth. This 6 week (18hr) series will give improvisers the solid foundation needed to improvise for extended periods of time, culminating with a Showcase on Staircase Cafe Theatre's main stage.

About the instructor:

Scott Thompson is an improviser, teacher and storyteller. He's performed long-form improvised theatre since 2011, and taught it since 2014. He is a founding member of Paper St. Theatre Company in Victoria, BC, and was the director and producer of Victoria's "An Improvised Dungeons and Dragons Show".

This workshop series takes place on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples.
