Advanced WAG Judging Face to Face Course

NT - WAG Advanced Coaching Course FULL COURSE NT25C004

GA - Advanced WAG Coaching Accreditation - Practical 1 and 2

 

This course combines all practical (face to face) courses for the Advanced WAG Coach Accreditation.

Completion of this course awards 16 updating points and the Advanced WAG Coach Accreditation.

The requirements to gain an Advanced coach accreditation are listed below:

• The coach must hold an Intermediate Coach Accreditation or have received exemptions to the Intermediate Coach Accreditation.

• A coach must be 17 years or older for the face to face component of the course.

• A coach must successfully complete all parts of the Advanced Coach Accreditation:

          o Online Advanced Coaching Principles and associated assessment tasks (completed in conjunction with workplace training)

          o Online Advanced Gymsport Course and associated assessment task (completed in conjunction with workplace training)

          o First Aid Certificate – a coach must have a current First Aid Certificate or complete a course prior to enrolment in the face to face course

          o Gymsport Face to Face Course 

 

An Advanced Coach Accreditation verifies that a coach has the competencies to coach gymnastics at an Advanced level. Competencies for an Advanced Coach Accreditation are available on the GA website. A coach should always work within their level of competency and exercise a duty of care to participants at all times.
