Description

This course will provide an overview of the Stanford clinical research billing process using the Budgeting and Billing Workbook.  Training is recommended for all research personnel who 1) enroll study participants having services performed at SHC or LPCH and 2) review hospital and professional fee billing reports to ensure research billing compliance.

By attending this class, you will:

  • Become familiar with the Budgeting and Billing Workbook
  • Understand the requirements to set up a research study account
  • Discuss the clinical researcher’s role in ensuring billing compliance
  • Identify potential risks and strategies for managing clinical research billing

Target Audience

Research coordinators, nurses, faculty, staff and post-doctoral scholars working on clinical research projects at Stanford University.
