About ADEA Educational Pathways

ADEA Educational Pathways is an essential resource for students interested in the dental professions as well as for students currently enrolled in dental education programs, counselors, health professions advisors, admissions officers and dental educators. Each year, more than 14,000 students and 500 dental education institutions rely on ADEA to provide uniform information about applicants in a standardized format. Additionally, health professions advisors, dental educators, staff, students and predental students rely on ADEA for recruitment initiatives and access to information. For example, ADEA GoDental is an initiative providing students interested in pursuing careers in dentistry and dental hygiene with the information and guidance they need to apply to programs, matriculate and eventually fulfill their career goals.

In addition to recruitment activities, our team manages ADEA’s four centralized application services: ADEA AADSAS®, for students pursuing a doctorate (D.D.S. or D.M.D.) in dentistry; ADEA CAAPID®, for advanced placement predoctoral programs for dentists who have degrees earned outside of the U.S. or Canada; ADEA DHCAS®, for students applying to dental hygiene programs; and ADEA PASS®, for students pursuing an advanced dental education.
